Circular center-out knitted dolies with 8 repeats, 3 ranks of fiddleneck or wave crest like motifs (on the largest mat, 2 and 1 ranks respectively on the smaller ones), these separated by chevrons of faggoting, the mats finished with two rounds of crocheted chains, with picots at the points of the outer one.

Needle size is unclear: “1 gioco aghi del n. 5/10” ( a set of needles number 5/10)

Charted (3 separate charts--1 for the large size, 2 for the final rounds of the smaller sizes), and with a complete key to symbols, but in an unusual style. All odd numbered rounds are without patterning but are charted anyway (blank all the way across); uses the letter A to indicate shift in beginning of round, B to mark the last round.
