This shawl is a concert for your needles! Starting off with a fantastic opening “band”, the shawl quickly moves into the opening number for the main act! Short rows, stripes, and texture fill the piece as the bands alternate between new and exciting pieces and the classics. Then we hit the finale. The closing number. The curtain call.

Set List is full of fast knitting, fun sections of short rows framed by simple bands of knitting, and a fantastic finish with a slipped stitch border and an I-Cord bind off to finish off this fantastic “set” of knitting tecniques! Add in some yarn weight changes and you have an AMAZING concert to wear around your neck!


Size: 19 inches (48 cm) along the center line to the point of the shawl X 75 inches (190 cm) along the top edge. Size will vary due to individual gauge, yarns used, and blocking preferences.

Recommended yarn: Two colors of fingering weight yarn in solid/semi-solid/tonal/lightly variegated colors. Sample A used: Hedgehog Fibers Sock Yarn (90% Merino Wool/ 10% Nylon) in Peacock(A) and Turquoise (B) ; Sample B used: Grinning Gargoyle Seda Sock (50% Merino Wool/ 50% Silk) in the color way Shiny Penny (A) and Plymouth Yarns Linaza (50% Alpaca/ 25% Linen/ 25% Tencel) in the color way 500 (B)

Yardage: Color A: 380 yds/ 348 m; Color B: 250 yds/ 229 m

Needles: One 32 inch US size 9/5.5 mm circular needle

Gauge: 4 sts to the inch with the yarn held doubled on US size 9/5.5 mm needles
