With these motifs you can make someone with the according star sign quite happy! It is a lovely and personal present for birthdays, Christmas or just as a small gift in between. Depending on the yarn you use, you can use the motifs for a dishcloth or soft washcloth. With bulky cotton yarn you can even make potholders. Below you will find different yarn suggestions.
The cloths are very easy to work with only knits and purls. The pattern explains very detailed and stitch by stitch how you can knit these motifs, so even beginners with basic knitting skills will succeed.
Material suggestions:
- for a washcloth: mix of cotton and bamboo, e.g. Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Cotton Bamboo (156 m / 50 g), approx. 30 gr in your favourite colour
- for a fine dishcloth: 100 % cotton, e.g. Schachenmayr Organic Cotton (155 m / 50 gr), approx. 30 gr in your favourite colour (also suitable for a washcloth as it is very soft)
- for a thicker dishcloth: 100 % cotton, e.g. Schachenmayr Catania (100 % cotton, 125 m/ 50 gr), approx. 40-50 gr in your favourite colour
- 2,5 mm (US 1 or 2) knitting needles
