| Pattern Notes & Construction
S E T A R E H (Persian for Star) is a top down, seamless, circular yoke sweater. It starts with a Provisional Cast On for a folded neckband. Short rows are used to provide a comfortable fit at the back neck. The yoke, the upper part of the body, and sleeves are embellished with stranded colorwork. Worked separately in the round without shaping, body and sleeves are textured with subtle cable fabric.

| Gauge

• Stockinette: 24 sts and 32 rnds = 4” (10 cm) on main needle, worked in the round, after blocking.
• Colorwork: 24 sts and 32 rnds = 4” (10 cm) on colorwork needle, worked in the round, after blocking.
• Cable Pattern: 26,5 sts and 34 rnds = 4” (10 cm) on main needle, worked in the round, after blocking.

| Needles
Needle sizes are suggested. Adjust them as necessary to obtain correct gauge for every stitch pattern used.

• Crochet Hook: US D (3.25 mm) for Provisional Cast On.
• Ribbing needle: US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm) and 32” (80 cm). US 3 (3.25 mm) needle(s) suitable for working small circumferences (like a set of 5 DPNs OR a long circular needle for Magic Loop OR 2 short circular needles).
• Main needles (Stockinette & Cable Pattern): US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle, 16” (40 cm), 24” (60 cm), and 32” (80 cm). US 4 (3.5 mm) needle(s) suitable for working small circumferences (like a set of 5 DPNs OR a long circular needle for Magic Loop OR 2 short circular needles).

Two different stitch markers, a piece of smooth waste yarn of similar yarn weight in color that is not very similar to C1, cable needle, tape measure or ruler, scissors, tapestry needle.
