This is a really easy repeat open work pattern that grows quickly into a lacey easy drape blanket. There are basically only 3 techniques or stitches used throughout this pattern which are repeated in different combinations. It is ideal for mandala or any other self striping yarn but would look equally stylish in block colour. I have given the point at which one cake ran out on me and then 2 cakes just about got me to the end.
