Seven Percent Solution
Seven Percent Solution came about as I was looking at leftover bits of Traveler from my Round Trip pullover pattern. I had one-ounce increments of seven different colors, and now I don’t have any leftovers! It’s a simple knit, with an airy lace pattern along the edge, and the size is completely customizable. You can use any yarn you like, of any weight. Just stop knitting when you run out of leftovers!
Finished Size: 18” depth, 72” wingspan, as written.
Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Traveler (100% Superwash Merino), seven 1-oz skeins of about 70 yards each. Sample knit with Green Tea, Galapagos, Riptide, Mermaid, Beaches, Daenerys, and Forget Me Knot.
Needles: 32” circular needle, size 6 US (4.00mm) or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 18 stitches/26 rows per 4 inches in unblocked stockinette stitch; gauge is not critical for this item but will affect size, yardage used, and drape.
Note: Instructions are given for how I knit the shawl. If you have more yarn, or less, use what you have!
