The Seven Stitch Headband -- a warm, stylish headband -- is a very quick knit for yourself or gift giving! With a gentle taper at the back of the neck, the headband is approximately 4 1/4” wide from ear to ear.

I fell in love with Poems Puzzle -- an “I-cord” yarn that lends itself beautifully to this textured headband. One skein makes the headband with yarn left over. Poems Puzzle has 66 yards per skein.

The headband can also be a great stash buster. The pattern includes notes on using stash yarns to create similar headbands, each with a unique look (third photo on the left, made with four strands of stash yarn), as well as on adjusting for slightly smaller needle sizes.
