’Seven’ is a 7 legged octopus. Being that he was my first crochet learning experience, I failed to fit in the traditional 8 legs. But who says you can’t still love something with imperfections?

The body of this pattern is worked in spirals consisting of sc, sl st, inc, dec, hdc’s and being able to identify BLO and FLO. The gauge is not important, but please use appropriate yarn with whatever hook size you’re using. I used worsted weight yarn with a size G/6 4mm hook to yield an octopus that is 2.5” wide and 2.5” tall (3” tall including hat).
