US#3/3.25mm circular needles.
Cable needle (optional).
Large-eyed, blunt needle.
Optional lining fabric, with needle and thread.

Please note that this cowl used about 50% of each skein of yarn to complete the project.

1/1 RCp - slip 1 st to cable needle, hold in back, k1, p1 from cn.
1/1 LCp - slip 1 st to cable needle, hold in front, p1, k1 from cn.
3st wrap - slip next 3 sts to RH needle, wrap the yarn from back to front of sts, move sts back to LH needle, wrap yarn to back of work 3 times, knit the 3 sts.
