Named after the inner city street I see from my home studio, Seventh Street is a comfort project with alternating stripes of reverse stockinette and eyelets. Using a classic top-down, triangular construction, this bandana-style shawl can be worn as an accent around the neck or used as a head wrap. I designed Seventh Street during a period of immense change and uncertainty in the spring of 2020. As I watched the world shift outside my window, I grounded myself in knitting. I hope this project gives you as much comfort as it gave me.
