Seymour
Seymour was a joint project between my 8yo son and I. I wanted to make a monster with a removeable eye and made the body portion first. He asked if he could draw how he envisioned it and I used his design to finish it.
I used about 35g of #4 medium worsted weight acrylic yarn for the main body. I used a 3.0 mm hook.
Seymour measures 8” (20 cm) tall when standing and 4.5” (11.5 cm) seated.
There is no required extra materials needed besides yarn and stuffing.
The pattern has close up color photos to clarify any difficult parts. While probably not a good design for an absolute novice, I would say an adventurous beginner could easily successfully make a Seymour without any outside assistance.
