I’ve created this purple hat, with love in every stitch, for my beautiful friend to keep her head warm whilst going through her illness & treatments.
The tassel can be made removable depending on how she’s feeling on the day.
The band can be worn as a simple ear warmer.
The base band is knitted sideways and joined prior to picking up stitches to create the body and crown.
Cables and ribbing are used for the band, and stocking stitch/stockinette for the body, and decreases creating a spiral to the very top.
An easy wear hat created in very soft yarn for sensitive heads.
