INSTRUCTIONS
The hat is knitted back and forth as a flat piece. The rows go vertically down to up. The garter pattern makes the hat very elastic.
Short rows are worked to form the top of the hat.
Finally, the ends are joined using a three needles bind-off purlwise technique.
Two directions are included according to individual preferences for garter stitch work - knit or purl.

The pattern contains suggestions for adapting to different hat circumferences and lengths.

It’s also extremely easy to make a transition to a different yarn weight.
