Shades of mine
My dear friend, Bek, has put up a KAL for this shawl in my group. It would be lovely if you join us there:

The “Shades of Mine” shawl is an assymetric shawl in a triangular shape and in the perfect size when you want something cozy around the neck, without having lots of fabric to consider.
I find this size the ultimate size for the in-between seasons, when the weather go from cold to warm, or the opposite.
The shawl is worked from side to side, starting from the pointed tip. The main-body of the shawl is worked in stockinette sts and garter st. The end border is worked in eyelets, stockinette and garter. The shawl is bound off using an i-cord bind-off.
I used some left-overs, 4 different colours in all.
You may use as many, or as few colours as you want.
It depends on your taste, as well as your stash:)
Size
Worked at gauge (24 sts), the shawl measures 125 cm/49” along the longest side, 55 cm/21.5” along the shortes side.
You may easily work a larger shawl by adding pattern-repeats.
Materials
Yarn: the sample is worked using fingering weight yarns. The total weight used is 75 gr/2.65 oz. 15 gr/0.53 oz of MC = Madeline Tosh Merino Light in ”Farmhouse white” (this is used for the stitch-pattern) 15 gr/0.53 oz of CC1 = Martin’s Lab Merino Single, ”Morning Star” 25 gr/0.88 oz CC2 = Madeline Tosh Merino Light, in ”Favorite pair”
20 gr/07 oz of CC3 = Madeline Tosh Merino Light in ”El Greco”. Needles: a circular needle 3 mm/US2.5.
Gauge
24 sts and 48 rows (worked in 2 rows of stockinette sts, 2 rows of garter) = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”.
The pattern
There is a schematic showing the shape and measurements.
The instructions are written out, colour-section by colour-section.
The 3-needle bind-off is explained.
Skill level adventurous beginner.
