Shades of Spring Throw
Here we finally have the throw that, the square I released last year, grew into. I designed this a couple years ago, but it got put aside until my testers wouldn’t be roasting under a big square in the summer. It has now been tested and is ready for you!
This is perfect size for children or to keep in the car. It is also great to keep close by anywhere you may get chilled.
I used 6 skeins of yarn almost equally in 2 colors. I also suggest using a size larger hook than the yarn recommends, it will drape well and have a more open fabric to it.
Gauge is not important since your yarn and tension will make it come out smaller or larger. Mine finished at about 47”, others were from 44” to 48”.
I am rating this one adventurous beginner as there is nothing very hard. I am also available by email or PM if anyone gets stuck. I am always happy to help if you find something you have never done before. There are helpful photos and notes for the tricky bits, too.
You can now also find me here in my group and join in the fun.
