Shadow Cat Pinwheel is the next in my Celebration Pinwheel Doily Collection. The inspiration for this design was our cat, Shadow. We had Shadow for 17-1/2 years and I have included his picture on page 2 of the pattern.
This pattern utilizes front and back post stitches as well as a 4FPdc-Cluster to give the nose some dimension. The cute tail has a little curl at the tip and the ears are raised from the surface.
Shadow Cat Pinwheel measures 15-17 inches in diameter and uses about 450 yds of size 10 thread.
The pattern is presented in 2 columns as I find that easier to track from the end of one line to the beginning of the next line. I also show the round repeats in red to facilitate easy reading. Blue text indicates notes. There are 11 pictures to assist in visualizing the instructions.
