This hat pattern was developed for the yarn “ fixations” by cascade yarns. It is made out of cotton and spandex. I can not tell you how this pattern will make up with another type of yarn. I wanted a Stretchy hat that would make a good Chemo hat. The yarn was perfect! As you can see in the photo’s it fits a 2 year old, a five year old, and an adult. It fits a bit differently but works for all of us.

The instructions also gives hints on how to amend the pattern for different fits.
