Shadow Magic is a fantastic, squishy, oversize shawl worked in garter stitch, with eyelet rows in contrasting colours. The name comes from another of my hobbies, breeding and showing pedigree Guinea pigs; it is named after my first ever Best In Show winning Guinea pig “Tamar Shadow Magic”.

The eyelet rows were all worked with 10g minis. Each row used less than the full mini but if you plan to have 10g of each colour you will have plenty.

Originally designed and worked in DK / 8-ply, this would also be an awesome shawl worked in Fingering / 4-ply yarn.

Due to the oversize nature of the shawl gauge isn’t important.
