Shadows pullover
Shadows is a raglan pullover worked top down in the round. It has a plaid pattern all over that you make by adding or removing a lace thread, kind of like stranded knitting. At the bottom there is a split hem where the back piece is longer than the front. Intended ease around the chest is 5-15 cm/2-6”.The person in the photo is wearing their Shadows with approx 10 cm/4” ease.
YARN
Yarn 1: BC Loch Lomond (150 m ≈ 164 yd/50 g)
Yarn 2: Kaos Yarn Brushed Alpaca (225 m ≈ 246 yd/25 g)
If you want the plaid pattern to be prominent choose the colour of yarn 2 with as much contrast to the colour of yarn 1 as possible. Either by having it a lot darker/lighter, or by choosing a contrasting colour.
SIZES A-B-C-(D-E-F)-G-H-I, chest circumference of the garment approx. 91-98-110-(118-131-145)-151-158-171 cm/35.75-38.5-43.25-(46.5-51.5-57)-59.5-62.25-67.25”, the intended ease is 5-15 cm/2-6”.
If you have a larger bust choose a size with around 5 cm/2 in. ease or even a bit less, then the pullover will fit better around the shoulders. With a smaller or no bust choose a size with around 10-15 cm/4-6 in. ease. But of course this also depends on how you want the pullover to fit, it will work slightly oversized as well.
