Shady Glen Shawl
This is a triangular shawl that is knitted from the top down. It was designed to be flexible in terms of the kind and amount of yarn. My version of this shawl was knitted with about 370 yards of an 18 wpi handspun yarn. The finished shawl is 52 inches by 30 inches.
This is a good project for a beginner lace knitter.
Please note that this pattern has not been test knitted by someone other than me. I would love to hear about any problems or suggestions.
Errata - Please download the newest version of this pattern as I have fixed a few mistakes and have made main chart A easier to read. Mistakes fixed in new version are:
The extra k1 stitches have been removes from the ends of rows 14 and 20 in main chart A.
The double decrease in row 9 has been changed to a k1 in both main chart A and B.
Row 27 on main charts A and B has been fixed - the last (leftmost) slip2, k1, psso has been changed to an ssk.
The row numbering problem between the initial written out rows and the charts has been fixed.
Row 5 on the border charts has been fixed. There was a missing yo and a k3tog instead of an ssk.
I also clarified, I hope, that the main charts need to be repeated twice for each row.
My apologies!
