Shady Sun Hat
SHADY SUN HAT
© Terrice C. Kennedy, 2015
Super easy and quick brimmed hat is perfect for giving you some shade while enjoying sunny summer days.
Stashbuster: Makes use of your leftover yarns from other projects. Worsted Weight (size 4) yarn. I’ve used acrylic yarn but you may wish to use cotton for its sweat absorbing quality.
Requires approximately 4.8 - 5.0 ounces of yarn total, so about 2.5 ounces of MC and about 2.5 ounces of secondary colors total.
Size: Sm, Med, and Lg are determined by use or non-use of Rounds 10, 11, and 12. This is a loosely fitting hat, not a fitted hat.
NOTE: This hat is worked in rounds with no turns. Project requires holding 2 strands of yarn together throughout.
Optional: 1 large button to go on hat band with holes or shank large enough for yarn needle. Or, you may opt to use a decorative pin instead of the button.
