Shake It Off
At a knitting retreat, in a time before the terribleness of 2020, I bonded with a new friend over dinner and a mutual love of gin cocktails. When she jokingly suggested I design a gin-themed ornament, I thoughts, “Challenge accepted.” So let’s “Shake It Off” with a cocktail shaker that looks forward to happier times when we can socialize again. I’ve put my hopes on 2021 by working in the year using the Roositud inlay technique, but that part is totally optional! This pattern also includes all the numbers, 0-1, as well as a blank chart for mapping out your year of choice. Finally, this is a great project for scraps and leftovers - I used leftover stash yarns from three different dyers.
