Construction
You’ll start by working the lace edge, then you’ll put this part on hold to knit the sock from the toe up, meaning you’ll start at the toe towards the leg.
Before finishing the leg portion, you’ll assemble the lace edge to the top of the sock.
You’ll finish by working an afterthought heel.

Sizes (=the actual stitch count the sock has on the leg and foot): 56, 64, 72, 80.
These sizes will fit a foot circumference of: 18 to 19 cm / 7.2 to 7.6 in, 20 to 21 cm / 8 to 8.4 in, 23 to 24 cm / 9.2 to 9.6 in, 25 to 26 cm / 10 to 10.4 in.

Gauge: 34 stitches x 50 rows= 10 cm / 4 in, with main needles (2.25 mm - US 1), measured over stockinette stitch, worked in the round and after blocking.

Yarn: the socks are knitted with a fingering weight sock yarn (here a Sock Blank):
Le Style Knitting - Sock Blank (400 m / 437 yds - 100 g) 75% merino sw, 20% nylon, 5% silver stellina.
Quantities for a 39 / US 8.5 shoe size: about 300, 330, 360, 400 meters / 328, 360, 393, 437 yards.

To substitute the sock blank for a fingering weight yarn (recommandation: Le Style Knitting - MCN). Here are the necessary meterages:
Quantity CP: 245, 266, 288, 320 meters / 268, 290, 315, 350 yards (foot and leg).
Quantity CC: 55, 64, 72, 80 meters / 60, 70, 78, 87 yards (lace and heel).

Construction
Vous commencerez par tricoter la bordure en dentelle, puis la laisserez de côté le temps de tricoter en rond la chaussette en construction toe up, c’est à dire de la pointe vers la tige.
Avant de terminer la tige, vous assemblerez la bordure intérieure en dentelle à la chaussette.
Le talon sera travaillé après-coup.

Tailles (= nombre de mailles de la chaussette à sa circonférence) : 56, 64, 72, 80.
Ces tailles conviendront aux pieds de circonférence : 18 à 19 cm / 7.2 à 7.6 po, 20 à 21 cm / 8 à 8.4 po, 23 à 24 cm / 9.2 à 9.6 po, 25 à 26 cm / 10 à 10.4 po.

Pour substituer la sock blank à un écheveau de laine de type fingering (recommandation : Le Style Knitting - MCN). Voici les métrages nécessaires :
