Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch,
knit in the round, and blocked.
Suggested Needles: 24”/81 cm, (24 and 32”/61 and 81 cm)
32 and 40”/81 and 101 cm circular needles
I recommend a US5/3.75mm, please check your gauge swatch!
For best results use the very same needle for your swatch as you will for your project.
Notions: Hanging row counter to mark the BOR, 4 closed markers for shaping,
2 markers for short rows, additional markers for lace pattern, if desired.
1 (1) 2 60”/152 cm barber cord, or 60”/152 cm needles in gauge or smaller, for transferring stitches to check progress. Tapestry Needle.
1 (1) 1½ yard(s) or meter(s) 1”/2.5 cm wide elastic. Needle and thread.

You will choose whether the skirt ease is neutral, positive or negative.
I knit to my measurements (neutral), the knitted fabric does relax.
The skirt is knit in one piece from the lace edged bottom up with no designated front or back,
unless you opt for short rows to drop the back hem, lift the back waistband, or both.
