I wanted to have a circular yoke tee basic, where I could change stitch patterns without the mess of diffi- cult calculations (difficult for me: maybe most of you make them without problems!). That’s how this tee is born. Every stripe has a number of stitches multiple of 2/3 or 6. That is why you can follow my directions, or you can be creative and choose your own stitch pattern as long as it is multiple of 2 or 3 or 6.So let’s start and have fun!
This circular yoke tee is worked seamlessly from the top down. First some short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the round yoke is worked top down to sleeve separation. Then sleeve stitches are placed on hold, and the body is worked in rounds down to the hem. Sleeves are worked top down.
