Shamrock
Play with the final size of your shamrock by changing the size of yarn or crochet thread that you use and/or your hook size. In the pictures on the blog I’ve used a worsted weight yarn for one shamrock and crochet thread for the other. Multi-purpose in use, this pattern could be a coaster, a placemat, a centerpiece, or a wall hanging. Options are endless!
Note: The shamrock pictured here is the one done in crochet thread.
Materials:
Worsted Weight Yarn in the color(s) and brand of your choice
In this pattern I used: Red Heart Super Saver in Paddy Green
Size G/4.0mm hook (or preferred hook size)
Stitch Marker(s)
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Pins (optional)
For the small shamrock I used Size 10 Crochet Thread, Aunt Lydia’s in Kerry Green with a 1.50mm hook
Stitches Used:
ch – Chain
sc – Single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
sc2tog – Single crochet 2 stitches together (decrease)
inc – increase
sl st – Slip stitch
FO – Fasten Off
