Easy and quick, super sweet shamrock basket! Permission to sell finished items. Pattern No. 247

In honor of St. Patrick’s day celebration I made a shamrock basket and I will fill it with lot’s of shamrock hair pins.
My daughter will take them to school to share with her friends.
I can’t think of better way to say “THANK YOU!” to all of them for making my daughter feel like at home!

This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms.

For this pattern you will need:
- Yarn
I used three different brands of yarn because I wanted just the right shade of Irish colors. It is important that they are similar thickness and fibre.
For orange I used „Sirdar Supersoft Aran “, 100% Acrylic, 258 yards (236 meters) in 100 grams , for white I used “Tivoli Blockbuster DK” “, 100% Acrylic, 300 meters in 100 grams and for green “Hayfield Bonus DK” 100% Acrylic, 153 yards (140 meters) in 50 grams

• 4 mm crochet hook
• yarn needle

Stitches used:

• ch – chain
• sc – single crochet
• bpsc – back post single crochet
• hdc – half double crochet
• dc – double crochet
• slst – slip stitch

Finished size of my basket is approx. 12cm diameter and 11cm height but you can make it bigger if you want.
