Last year and this year mark milestones for some of my oldest friends and me - we all turn(ed) 40. I have been reflecting on these friendships, some dating back to us being born hours apart. We may not be in touch every day as when we were younger, but it is so special when we do connect whether through a phone call or text, meeting to celebrate a milestone or just enjoy a coffee. I am blessed to have these lifelong friendships.

Shandy is designed for one of these friends’ of 36 years and named after her beautiful rescue. It is a simple cowl with some great details in the stitches. Knit in the round in worsted weight. Shandy is a great design to show off that special hand-dyed or variegated yarn.
