Shannon's Pullover
“Color Exercise” pullover using Knitting-as-Warp technique where contrasting yarns are woven in to create patterns after knitting is complete. Optional neck finishing involves “latching” one crocheted chain stitch in each space around base of neck.
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate
Measurements:
- Chest: 40.5 (44, 48, 51.5)“
- Length: 24 (25.5, 27, 28.5)“
Materials:
- Main Color (MC) in Aran weight yarn: 880 (1025, 1170, 1330) yds or approx. 10 (12, 14, 16) 1.75oz / 50g balls in black.
- Contrast Colors (CC) in DK, worsted, or Aran weight: approx. 18 (18, 18, 20) 57” lengths each, and 18 (18, 22, 22) 30” lengths each of 11 (12, 13, 14) colors covering the color wheel. Use tapestry yarns if you are missing a color or if you run out of a color.
- Crochet hook, US size G/6 / 4.0 or 4.5 mm
