Any Yarn patterns offer you the chance to knit that item in any yarn, commercial or handspun. This means you can use yarn from your stash for pattern you like and you do not have to hit the tension given on the pattern.

I was asked to design a cardi which would not get in the way when spinning! That meant close-fitting sleeves, no fastenings down the front, and no front bits on the lap. This bolero is what I came up with. It is useful for many occasions, not just for spinning.

The cardi is worked in garter stitch, which means that when working in the round you work one round knit and one round purl. When working to and fro, every row is knit.

BEFORE YOU START
To find your size, you will need a cardi which fits you across the back and
shoulders as you want your cardi to fit you. From it, find the width you want across the back just below the shoulders. Alternatively use the table below.
