I love all of the beautiful designs that quilters create, but I would much rather knit! The idea for Shape Shifter comes from a book on strip quilting. I liked all of the interesting angles. Because I love to knit but am not as fond of sewing the pieces together, I designed this afghan to be made with a modular technique where pieces are joined together as they are worked. This afghan is knit in garter stitch with simple increases and decreases. The modular technique is easy to do and creates a very intricate design.
