TENSION
For larger sizes, a 4mm (UK8 – USA6) 80cm Circular Needle and 3¼mm (UK10 – USA3) 80cm Circular Needle may be required.

17 sts to 7cm, (2¾in) over cable and eyelet pattern AND
10 sts to 4cm, (1½in) over cable pattern AND
29 rows to 10cm, (4in) over pattern rows AND
22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm, (4in) over stocking stitch on 4mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
