A top-down raglan with a thick, warm collar, bustle-type skirt (that is longer in the back then the front), and pockets!

This can be worked as a beginner or intermediate project - it is all simple stockinette or rib stitch; there are optional instructions for a short-rowed shaped bust, pockets and a secondary reinforced button band (for busty gals).

I’ve tried to capture everything accurately, but seeing as this is my first pattern there are bound to be errors. I aim to be very responsive to any questions or errata found. Currently there is only one size (mine, 36”) but I wear it with negative ease -- the actual pattern is written for a size 34”. I hope to add more size in the immediate future.

I used a cheap yarn that I bought in a Spotlight while visiting my father in Australia. I would recommend something soft that you want to wear against your skin, but I think any bulky yarn would work.

Inter-changeable knitting needles or straight needles in size 7 and 8 and scrap yarn

10 ¾” wood buttons

Measurements:
NOTE: I have a 36” bust/hips, 30” waist (now) and this still fits well.

Yarn:
From Australia: “Click Clack Cleckheaton Merino Spun 80% merino wool 20% acrylic COL:0005 117m/ball” Bulky/12ply. (I believe I used 9 balls, with some left over)

Gauge:
4.5 st/in

Needles:
Size 8 needles for body, size 7s for the lower arm.
