Shapely Tunic
A smart and sexy tunic top or dress with a unique and original crochet mesh stitch worked on the waist and on the sleeves.
This project is for the intermediate to experienced crocheter with minimal sewing skill (only the shoulder seam needs to be sewn).
Construction starts just above the waist going towards the underarm in joined rounds (turned after each round). Work is separated for fronts and back to shape armhole and neck. Sleeves are crocheted directly on the armhole, after sewing the shoulder part. Work continues from the foundation row starting with the see-thru waistband going to the skirt part. Length of tunic top or dress can be easily customized.
The upper body is not lacy, so you don’t need to wear a camisole underneath.

Errata:
For Left front shoulder shaping: Rows 41(43) and 42 (44), (which came out the same as right front shoulder shaping), follow instead the left shoulder shaping of back, for the same rows.
