Shapka is a Russian word which just hat. It’s not a fancy, feminine hat (shlerpka) or a hat with a brim (kipka), it’s just a hat.
This simple Shapka is available in 2 sizes--
Medium (Circumference: 22”)
Large (Circumference: 26”)
but if you want to make it for another size it would be easy to do by changing the needle size to get a different gauge. So yeah, go for it!
