Share the Love Mitts
I lost my heart to this sweet little lace pattern that I made up last year and already transformed it into my Share the Love Socks but I made myself a pair of fingerless mitts with this pattern too. So, I thought it would be fun to share that with you too, especially with winter knocking on our doors and all the christmas knitting that is going on.
The ribbed fabric of the cuff and the ribbs throughout the pattern give you a variety of sizes to wear those mitts.
But if f you need a much bigger (wider) size you can adjust the pattern with adding stitches that will go to the stitches on the sides of your hand. Or if you need a smaller size you can decrease the number of stitches you cast on by 4 so that this part of the stitches that a along the side of your hand will be smaller.
It’s an easy adjustement that you make at the beginning and won’t take much care after that…
The pattern is easy to memorize and it seems to knit itself magically.
I wanted something that covers the most part of my fingers without the limited skills that a real mitten brings, but feel free to knit them shorter if that’s more convenient for you.
You can see the little hearts best if you use a tonal or solid colorway but it’s looks very cute with a speckled or variegated yarn too.
