Shark Nap Blanket
The pattern is written for a full length shark, with a second jaw piece. This piece is used to hold a pillow or is fun to lay between the jaw layers. When not in use, roll the blanket up, starting at the tail, and tuck inside the jaw from the non-teeth edge.
About The Pattern
Skill Level: Easy, with basic crochet experience and able to read a crochet pattern.

Instructions for using ANY YARN, worsted weight to super bulky. I LOVE how it turned out with Bernat Blanket Yarn, but it would be cute in others too. If you need suggestions for other yarns, just send me an email and I would love to brainstorm with you.
Yardage
Shark pattern as written: 900 yards dark grey, 220 light grey, 220 yards white
Wave Blanket: 220 yards medium blue, 500 yards turquoise/light blue
Measurements
84” long x 29” wide (blanket can be made almost any length).
Additional Materials
Crochet Hook: J, N (9mm)
Note: N hooks are available in different mm size.
M/N hooks are 9mm. N/P hooks are 10mm. The size difference will affect your project greatly.
Miscellaneous
Yarn needle, 1 child or standard size bed pillow (optional), measuring tape, two 1.5” buttons for eyes, pins for assembly
Gauge
4” with N hook= 9 hdc sts and 6 rows
Please be aware that some people tend to crochet thicker yarns at a different tension than other yarns. Hook brand and size makes a difference as well. This project is great any size, but yarn amounts will vary if your gauge is different from mine.
