The Sharlet Rose Sweater was inspired by the little cherub pictured above. It is worked seamlessly from the top down and features a 2x2 block style pattern. The sweater body is worked back and forth on 4mm (US 6) circular needles with the sleeves worked in the round. The Sharlet Rose Sweater can be worked using any 8ply double knit yarn providing gauge is obtained.
This pattern is an intermediate, or very confident beginner, level knit, designed to take a handful of standard knitting stitches, and turn them into something special. It features sizing from 3 months old up to 24 months old.

Skills Used: ribbing, working in the round, increasing, and decreasing, top-down sweater construction with separation of sleeves at the end of the raglan, ability to read and work from a small pattern chart, picking up large amounts of stitches for construction of the button band and kitchener stitch for grafting the hood.
