Note: You will need a small amount of contrasting color yarn for the lacing.

The name of the color is sharp steel, inspiring a wide belt in which I imagine you could carry your dagger on an extensive journey through Middle-Earth. I love the colors of this yarn: the green of the battlefield, the deep burgundy like old leather, and the vivid blue, like the glow of elven blade when enemies draw near.

This is a simple, fast project, using only the basic chain stitch and single crochet. The yarn I used gives this project some stretch. This aspect combined with the lace-up ties means that you may want to work to a length a few inches smaller than your waist measurement to acheive a good fit.
