Shawl "Baltic Sea"
With such a name, the shawl seems absurd to be placed around your neck (unless you’re a walrus). The Baltic Sea in question is very cold these days but even in summer, when you totally can swim there, the color of the Sea remains as cold and dignified. I chose the Opal Elegant yarn and, in my opinion, the stricter form of an elongated half-moon to convey a sense of its nature in a more accurate way.
The shawls is to be knitted from the centre of its upper part by the gradual addition of sts on both sides. The creating process is divided into two stages: the first one is knitting the germ (or, as you wish, the core) of your shawl; the second stage is knitting the body of the shawl that will be consist of repeated patterns X.
Shawl finished size
Completed shawl meas approx 310 cm (3,4 yards) at upper edge and is approx 62 cm (24,4 in) deep.
