Shawl Botanica
by Susan Oliver
I set out to design a Crescent shawl that had more depth to it, more of a shawl than a bordered scarf, yet using short rows to give it shape.
I used about 1 1/2 balls of Rowan fine lace in white, but the pattern lends itself well to kettle dyed yarns or heavier yarns. I think it would look awesome in a multi colour DK, though I’d take out a couple of the repeats at cast on to keep it about the same size.
