I wanted to create a scarf that was more than a scarf. Something to keep your shoulders and neck warm, but without all the extra fabric of some scarfs. I also wanted a garment that folks in wheel chairs could wear and it would stay on their shoulders easily. And I wanted it to be versatile enough younger folks would love it for wearing with their coats. Using their favorite school colors would be a great way to show team spirit.

You will be able to use this template many different ways. Feel free to substitute your favorite stitch, whether it be a lace stitch for a lady or a texture stitch for a man. You are only limited by your imagination.

This pattern works best with lighter colored yarns. Working with multiple colors that you mix yourself will make this an “extra” special scarf.

I purchased two skeins of the Lion Brand Mandela Yarn. This way I could match the colors on the fronts.

This pattern is easy to memorize. A couple of times through is all you need.

Many thanks to DeEtta V. for testing this pattern for me. And for suggesting ways to improve the “language” of the pattern.

Thank you for choosing my pattern.
