This shawl is the perfect start for beginners who’ve never made a shawl before!

I bought nine skeins of the Adele 100% polyacryl in a German supermarket. If you want to use a similar yarn, here are the specifics (note: I used two strands for the whole project except the border)
•100% polyacryl
•200m
•50g
•2mm hook
•swatch of 10x10cm = 42 rows and 30 stitches

Everything is worked in rows. We start in one corner, go to the middle of the shawl and work our way up to the next corner. It will look like a V. I explain the concept of V-shaped rows with images.

If this is your first shawl, you will notice that the beginning will work really fast and the ending really slow. But I personally like that pacing.

The border is finished with a picot stitch to give it a nice ribbed texture.
