Lukomorye – it is a poetic obsolete word meaning “curved sea-shore”. In East Slavic mythology – sacred lands at the uttermost point of the earth where grows Tree of Universe with its branches extend far into the heavens, and its roots that extend deep down into the underworld.
This is a crescent shaped shawl worked top down.

900-1100m/ 984yds-1203yds of lace weight yarn, with a high content of natural fibers.
1208 size 7 (6) beads.
3mm/US2,5 (for shawl body) and 3,5mm/US4 (for lace ending) circular needles.
3mm crochet hook for BO, and 0,5mm – for beading.
Stitch marker(s) - optional.

Sample is knit from 120g of Aade Long Artistic 8/1 (100% wool, 800m/100g), plus 65g of size 7 beads.
Finished measurements ~ 150cm х 65cm
(~59inches x 26inches).
