Easy cabled shawl to keep you warm and elegant during the winter. Chic and functional with pockets on both sides. Because, let’s be honest, there aren’t enough garments with pockets in the world. We need POCKETS!

This pattern is written from bottom to top. After body is of the shawl is created, the pockets are added by picking up stitches and knitting a square. The sides of the pocket are then sewn together. Fringe is added at the end. Length can be increased or decreased as needed.

Materials:
Cable Needle
US 13 Needle
Tapestry needle
585 yds Super Bulky Yarn (I used Malabrigo Rasta - Lotus - Approx. 6 ½ Skeins)
5 mm Crochet Hook (or equivalent to pull yarn through for fringe)
