Note! I have one mistake pointed out and will be updating the pattern tonight. The SSK is a true SSK and should read SSK= slip 2 stitches as if to knit, knit 2 stitches together through back loops.

Fisher-Women need hats too!!! While time is scarce when it comes to my fishing time, a hat will definitely come in handy when it is time!

The idea behind this hat is that our outdoorswoman (or man) can fold the hat to suit the weather. Ears just a little cold? Wear it as a slouch. Fold the brim up once if there is a chill in the air. Or, Double fold the brim for maximum ear toast-i-ness!

Seriously dictionary, OUTDOORSWOMAN needs to be added to your pages. It’s not just Outdoorsmen. Yes, women gasp like the outdoors too.
