Sheep
by AJ Terrill
This little sheep works up quickly and requires no sewing, so it’s easy to make a whole flock! You could add some sheep to a farm or Nativity scene, or sew on a loop of yarn to make an ornament or keychain. This project would be also a great stashbuster for any leftover white/cream and gray/brown/black yarn you happen to have.
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn in white and black (or any combination you like)
Polyfill or other stuffing
Two 6mm black animal eyes
Size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle
Finished size: 3” / 6.5 cm long
Pattern stitches: single crochet
Skill level: Beginner; requires knowledge of crocheting in the round, increasing and decreasing, and color changes.
