Pattern is sized for sizes 2T - 12 Child. Pattern includes written directions along with colorwork charts in Pdf format. I would rate the level of experience as intermediate. The sweater combines a number of different knitting techniques which makes it super fun to knit! The sweater is knit in the round, sleeves are knit on dpns then knit to yoke at underarm making it a seamless sweater. There is a bit of colorwork technique added for interest and the sheep are so adorablly cute and fluffy by using a textured yarn. This sweater can be made more feminine for a girl, simply by making a few color changes detailed in the pattern instructions. Knits up very fast using worsted weight yarns. Simple embroidery stitches are added to finish the sheep details. This sweater is a SHOW STOPPER! It has gotten wonderful reviews from the knitting community. A must make for that special little someone.
