This is an easy Christmas stocking that my mother requested for this year. It is knitted from the top down with a heel flap and a seamed toe. It involves colourwork which can be very tight so my advice would be to leave longer strands than you think you need!

It needs less than 50g of white and black and less than 100g of blue and green of aran weight wool. 5mm double pointed needles and a tapestry needle.
