This is an adorable sheep pattern for the perfect Christmas ornament. There are two options for this pattern with one being for a sheep wearing a fair isle sweater and the other without a sweater.

It is worked flat and then sewn together at the end. The sample was knit with Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% Pure Shetland Wool) with the colours Crimson, Tartan, Eesit (white), and Black. However almost any type of yarn type and weight is suitable.

The legs of the sheep are made by working a simple crochet chain which can be done by hand.
